CABAL CABERNET SAUVIGNON
REGION
Coonawarra, South Australia
COLOUR
Concentrated deep crimson with a purple tinge.
BOUQUET
Intense aromas of blackcurrant, cinnamon, and herbaceous mint notes with fine oak contributing vanillin and cedar nuances. Expect to see some cigar box characters with age.
PALATE
The 2010 Cabal Cabernet Sauvignon has great fruit weight composed of abundant ripe berry fruits, and herbaceous minty leaf and capsicum characters, typical of Coonawarra. Fine vanillin oak notes are well integrated with firm velvety tannins giving length and structure and creating a wonderful lingering mouthfeel. This wine can be enjoyed now, but will definitely reward extended cellaring.
